The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF): Modern Advocacy Through Culture and Influence

E3 Nexus has proudly partnered with The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation (ETAF) to reimagine how HIV awareness and advocacy show up in culture today. Our work has focused on leveraging storytelling, celebrity influence, and creative strategy to advance ETAF’s mission of ending the epidemic and the stigma that surrounds it.

From concept to execution, we led the development of “Stuck in the ’80s”—ETAF’s bold out-of-home campaign that challenged outdated perceptions of HIV through striking creative, messaging strategy, and real-world placement. Beyond visual impact, our team drove influencer engagement across more than four national campaigns, cultivating partnerships that centered authenticity, representation, and community impact.

As part of ETAF’s continued push for visibility and inclusion, E3 Nexus has secured high-profile ambassadors including Andy Cohen, Don Lemon, Amber Riley, Dominique Jackson, and L Morgan Lee—each embodying the Foundation’s values through storytelling, advocacy, and public engagement.

In addition, we cast and produced an original short play for one of ETAF’s convenings, featuring acclaimed actors John Clarence Stewart and Jason Stuart, to spark dialogue around HIV criminalization and human rights. Our collaboration extends annually to The Elizabeth Taylor Ball to End AIDS, where we support strategy, talent engagement, and event partnership integration.
